Antlers Third At Districts, 8 in Finals, 10 Qualify Elkhorn finished third at Districts behind Millard South and Lincoln East. Eight Antlers made the finals at districts, and 10 qualified for the upcoming state meet. Results and photos are posted.
Elkhorn A Very Close Second At EMC Tourney Leading going into the final round, Elkhorn narrowly missed winning the Eastern Midlands Conference Title as Plattsmouth nipped the Antlers by 2.5 points. Saturday, January 12 Elkhorn Cleans House at Nebraska City Triangular Elkhorn made quick work of both Nebraska City and Waverly in the Triangular at Nebraska City. Antlers Are Champs at Lincoln Northstar Elkhorn delivered yet another repeat on Friday, outscoring Norfolk, 192 to 129.5 to win the Lincoln Northstar Invite. Elkhorn Sends Ranked Teams Packing at Triangular The Antlers made Parents Night a happy one in dispatching of Class B's seventh ranked Gretna, 46-24, and ninth ranked Plattsmouth, 47-27. Antlers Win Bellevue West Invite! The Antlers repeated as champions in the Bellevue West last Saturday. In outlasting runner-up Columbus 230 to 220, Elkhorn defeated not only the 5th ranked class A team, but also the 8th ranked team in Bellevue East. Look for photos in the Albums tab and results under the Forms tab. Also, Ft. Calhoun results are now posted under the forms tab.
Elkhorn Ninth At Boystown Elkhorn battled injuries and the competition to a ninth place finish at the Boys Town Invitational. See photos in the albums tab, and individual results in the Forms, Records and Results tab. Sunday, December 2 Elkhorn Dominates at Fremont Invitational Elkhorn won the Fremont Invitational again this year, holding off a scrappy Papillion-LaVista team in the final round. At one point, Elkhorn was only 10 point ahead of Papillion-LaVista, but used a strong medal round to pull away, 220.5 to 186. Check out the Forms, Records and Results tab for more details.
