U10Boys Game Will be our own Dynamo vs Rapids at Hoover South Field arrive 1:00 for 1:30 game. U8 vs WV Pumas at Stevens Creek School arrive 2:30 for 3pm game. Thank you for your patience with the schedule.

De Anza Youth Soccer League is a great place to play soccer! We support all levels of play from beginner, competitive, select all the way to pre- professional. Over 2/3 of league teams are competitive level or higher. Contact www.deanzayouthsoccer.org or www.deanzaforce.org for information on more advanced programs beginning U9 and to contact teams for ongoing tryouts throughout the year. The DYSL Recreation/Development Program is for players wanting a professional paid trainer for all practices, learn soccer, yet still have fun. Coaching provided by MLS Camps and private trainers, for more on coaching philosophy visit www.strenthsbasedcoaching.org . K and J programs are still accepting registration. K Program has 8:1 maximum ratio, J Program has 10:1 maximum ratio. K and J coaches have either played comp soccer or are currently on College soccer teams. Classes start at Creekside September 6th for K and J, K: 9am-10am, J: 10:15-11:45 am. MW U10 Team began Monday Aug 25 at Hyde. U8 and U10 Teams began August 26th at Creekside, 5:30pm - 7 pm. Wear shinguards, cleats, and bring water. Check the Calendar for details for your specific team. Plan to bring snack for one game in the season, volunteer to make a snack schedule or help your snack scheduler out. Thank you for your support and have a great soccer season!
Coach Efrain Burgos to Join U8 and U10 Staff! Welcome Coach Efrain!
Coach Efrain Burgos, former member of the El Salvador National Team, USSF A license, will assist training the U8 and U10 players during practices this fall. Coach Efrain has coached boys and girls, Olympic Development Program, Super Y, developing winning teams. We are extremely fortunate to have him working with and inspring the young players in soccer. Welcome Coach Efrain!
Spring Changes...
Spring 2009 format for U8 and U10 will be improved and changing...stay tuned for news. (Other program options include extra midweek practice and winter 5 wk session for K & J ages 6-8.) Please email the director with your ideas and feedback.
DYSL Family Earthquakes Night! Pre-Game Player Parade!
Please join the league for this first ever league wide event: Earthquakes v Dynamo, Sept. 13, 7 pm, Buck Shaw Stadium, Santa Clara University. Tickets are discounted to $25/ea for our league, section 105, and ALL players in uniform will get to parade the field, some will be Earthquakes player escorts and some will be ball keepers throughout the game. There is a jump house for small children. This a super opportunity for the recreation teams to get out on the Earthquakes' field for the pre-game league parade! Please refer to the flyer and email cekmoore@gmail.com for information on how to direct a check to DYSL and pick up your tickets. Thank you!
What to bring (or mail) to registration:
The packet submittal requirements are strict, please read carefully:
1) TWO COPIES WITH SIGNATURES (New requirement) of CYSA Registration Form: http://www.cysanorth.org/Registration/Forms/CYSAForm1601-Fill-InForm.pdf
2) Birth Certificate (or passport) copy - must have, all ages, no exceptions
3) 1" sq. photo of child (for U8 and up for player pass) - NO HATS, VISORS, SUNGLASSES, MEASURE YOUR PHOTO PLEASE, Check Age Matrix Page to be sure you are in the right age bracket.
4) Checks (two) both made to "DYSL" one for field use: $11 Cup. res/$88 non.res
and one for class: K and J: $60
U8 and up: $90
5) DYSL Fall 2008 team request form if you want to team up with a friend(s).

The following team names will replace the fruit and vegetable teams: Broncos, Blackhawks, Chivas, Dynamo, Earthquakes, Fire, Galaxy, Rapids, Revolution, Red Bulls United, and Wizards.
If Raining:
Call the City of Cupertino Field Status Hotline: (408) 777-3566. Check this number if it's raining, or has been raining recently, the City Parks and Recreation Department requires that we stay off fields when closed.
