Voting "YES" will NOT raise your school taxes!
If you're a resident of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, you've got an important decision to make this November.
Our school district is asking us to approve an operating levy that is up for renewal. If it passes, the school will be able to continue funding sports, extracurricular activities and special academic programs like Atheneum and AP classes.
The good news is that voting yes will not raise your school taxes. That's because this levy is not a new levy. In fact, we have been paying this tax for ten years and renewing it won't cost us a penny more.
Please support our kids by voting "yes" this November.
For more information visit www.IGHLevy.org, or the Inver Grove Community Schools websites.

Mission Statement
Welcome to the home of Inver Grove Heights traveling basketball. IGH Traveling Basketball sponsors boys and girls teams from 5th through 8th grades comprised of players that either live in Inver Grove Hts or attend school in Inver Grove Hts. Traveling basketball is great way to enhance your child's basketball experience. Our program is geared toward helping kids develop their skills in a competitive environment that is geared to each teams skill level. We have approximately 10 tournaments each season, the first is in November and the last is the State Tournament in March. Each tournament consists of 3 to 4 games a weekend. We play our tournaments throughout the metro area, as well as two home tournaments right here at Simley High School. Each year the kids try to travel to one fun overnight tournament. All of these tournaments are a chance for our kids to work on their individual skills while learning to work as a team. They have a chance to meet players from other teams and a chance to win trophies and awards. The practices are usually twice a week and take place in the evenings at the Middle School and High School gyms.
