2007/8 Season is nearly over!

The 2007/8 season has progressed well for us. The Ladies first team have has a great run that's guaranteed a top half finish, with 3 games to go they have a chance of a top 4 finish which is an incredible achievement for their first season. Some of their recent wins over Dagenham and Redbridge, Cambridge United and Peterborough Ladies have been top class, and with more talented U17 now breaking in the squad they can continue to improve.We are a much better side than a year ago and the Ladies will be aiming for the best possible finish for the club. In the Junior section the U10 have thrived in their first ever season in competitive football under the guidance of Ladies First team player Zara Carroll and have secured the League and Cup double, whilst the U12 have done fantastically at 11-a-side despite playing a year up, claiming runners up spot in the Weetabix League. Charlie has been thrilled with their progress. The U17 and U15 both won their Leagues, and are now in the League Cup final bouncing back from tough finals in the County Cup. The U11 completed a new club record before finally losing their unbeaten run but responded by winning their third double in League and Cup. Both the U13 and Ladies reserves re-built effectively and will finish in the top half of their respective tables. With less games than in recent year we literally can't get enough games to match previous records but we've breezed past 100 league wins again and have won another 4 leagues, 2 Cups and have the opportunity for two more. 2007/8 has been another great year for Bedford and despite the shadow hanging over the Girls game with the current School of Excellence issue Bedford isn't talking about what they do, they've done it.

 WEETABIX LEAGUE CLUB OF THE YEAR 2004/5
Everything you need to know about the longest established girls football club in Bedfordshire and the only all girls Charter Status Club in Bedford. This year we have 10 competitive teams from U9 to Ladies with over 120 players signed on. We now have  15 coaches qualified up to level 1,two to level 2 and one to level 3. We have an established code of conduct. Our success has been considerable and you can get an indication of how well the girls have done by viewing the honours page or scrolling down to view this years honours.
