Dornbirn Sharx of the Austria Women's League

European Cup - Sept 1-7 - Prague, Czech Republic
GA Fire & UGA softball will be represented at the 2008 European Cup being played in Prague, Czech Republic Sept 1-7. Moe Wood, UGA and GA Fire 23U catcher has been playing with the Dornbirn Sharx, who won the 2008 Austrian Women's League (summer phase). Moe left the beginning of June for Hard, Austria after completing her senior softball season at UGA. The team has an international roster with players from Austria, Australia, Italy, Germany and the United States. After the Cup the Sharx will play in the Austrian Women's League Championship tournament (top 4 teams) in Vienna on Sept 12-14.
