Mission Statement: 

H-Town Souljahz is a non-profit basketball organization that trains young athletes to play and enjoy the game of basketball at a highly competitive level.  We offer programs which will advance individual skills, as well as team skills, endorse good sportsmanship, and encourage team spirit.  We believe life lessons start in our homes and neighborhoods and it is echoed through our basketball policy.  We establish multi-level programs for our youth to enhance their skills, play with others, and compete with a sense of fair play.  We promote amateur basketball in Houston, Texas by sponsoring excellence in the game of basketball on a local and national level.  H-Town Souljahz value and respect the benefits of participation in the game and we bring forward a winning philosophy by focusing on God-given values and to assist in developing athletes spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically supported by a Christian environment.

H-Town Souljahz is a competitive girl’s basketball team from Houston, Texas and is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union. All team members are committed players born in 1989 or later. The team competes in state-wide and national tournaments from March-August. Good sportsmanship, teamwork and self-discipline are encouraged. We depend on fundraisers to help cover expenses. Sponsor donations make it possible for the team to participate in events. We would like to thank all our sponsors for their continued support.
