Niagara Falls has had a very successful instructional program for the younger boys and girls.
This is an instructional non-competitive program for ages 6-9. This program is centered at Stamford Collegiate on Saturday mornings and is supported by our Sponsor "Tim Hortons TIMBITS"

Boys and Girls House League
The Red Raiders Basketball Association offers a House League program for boys and girls aged 10-13 (born from 1998 to 1995). An atom division is run for the younger players (born 1997-1998) while bantam is for the older players (born 1995-1996). This league practices one weekday night per week with games held either Saturday morning (atoms) or Saturday afternoon (bantams). The program runs from the weekend after Thanksgiving through to March Break. We are fortunate to have TRG Insurance as a major sponsor of our house league program which allows us to run this program at an affordable cost to our players.
In 2007-2008 we had 12 girls teams and 13 boys teams comprised of over 250 players. Players are allocated to a team and the emphasis is placed on skill development, team play, sportsmanship as well as on equal play. The season concludes in March with playoffs and a league championship, followed by a pizza party and awards presentation.
Over the years this program has evolved from having parents/coaches officiate games to where we now instruct our travel players to officiate. Coaches are parents and volunteers from the community. Every year we are in need of more volunteers to help at this level.
