Charity Golf Events to help the VonLeue Twins born April 14, 2007 at 26 weeks into the pregnancy.
Shyla Ashlynn (1 lb 13 oz) and Kenna Rain VonLeue (1 lb 15 oz) were taken by airflight and ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital's Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit immediately after birth.
Both are now at home and just over 8 lbs! Kenna will need surgery to repair an umbillical hernia and has one eye that did not fully develope! They will both need special medical attention to progress in their growth.
Amber (Cox) VonLeue (Auburndale Class of 2000) is Mom and works for the Heart of Florida Girl Scout Council. Kenneth VonLeue (Auburndale Class of 2001) is a Polk County Sheriff's Deputy and is in the Army Reserve. He has already spent one tour in Irag. Both are great, Christian young people that are in dire need of the community's support!
To help this young family Beef O'Bradys is hosting the VonLeue Twins Golf Tournament on Friday, October 5th, 2007 at Schalamar Creek Golf & Country Club.
Check In begins at 11:30 A.M. There will be a 1:00 P.M. Shotgun Start.
Every golfer will have the chance to win $1,000,000! The winner of the putting contest will shoot from 165 yards out on hole #18 immediately following the 18 hole, 4 man, best ball scramble. If he/she sinks the Hole-In-One they will win one million dollars sponsored by Tom Porter! Every golfer can putt once included in the registration fee or purchase more attempts. The price will be 3 balls for $5.00 unlimited.
Jarrett-Gordon Ford of Winter Haven is sponsoring a $100 cash prize for Closest To The Pin. There will also be a prize for Longest Drive.
Combination putting contest sponsored by Toyota of Winter Haven. The prize is $5,000!
